This tour was the highlight of our time in Phnom Penh. We took the night tour with our teenage boys (13 and 18) and they’ve been talking about it ever since. Our guides were so warm and authentic and kind. We loved talking with them and learned so much about Cambodian culture and their own lives. Great conversations! The street food was remarkable — particularly the seafood. And we had fun zipping around the busy streets, dancing (well, trying to dance), sipping cocktails at the sky bar, and touring around on a boat. These are smart, cool women who really know this city. Worth every dollar!.

This is the best way to see Phnom Penh as I had a limited amount of time. So I chose both the day adventure tour and night city tour. This was the highlight of my time in Cambodia and can recommend this as the best way to see the surrounding areas through the eyes of a local. My tour guide was punctual and very knowledgeable about all the areas we visited, and went out of her way to make it an authentic cultural experience. I would recommend this as an absolute must do if visiting Phnom Penh.

We had such fun with the team on two separate occasions.

Firstly we went to the silk islands and saw a bit of Cambodian countryside. The girls explained the farms and village life worked. We also met a weaver and his family at their house/workshop.

The following day we took the city tour. Equally good, but for different reasons. We went to the royal palace, some temples and the market. The girls explained some of the key points of each attraction and their no rush tour guide style makes for a relaxed experience

You should take a tour with Renou and her crew if you say yes to any of the following:

1. You are a solo female traveller who would feel safer with a female tour guide.
2. You want to feel the wind in your hair and weave through all those tuktuks and cars!
3. You’ve done all the typical tourist stuff in Phnom Penh and wanna see something real.
4. You want to have real conversations with someone local.
5. You want to support independent locals and not the big tour companies.
6. You want a tour that is specifically catered towards you.

Those are a few reasons I took a tour with them, and they didn’t disappoint. It felt like a very relaxed and genuine tour. Thanks, girls!

I had visited Phnom Penh before, so I asked the Motogirls to design a custom tour where I could see some less-visited areas outside the city. I was delighted with the time and effort that Renou and her team put into designing my tour.

I completed a very long tour (10 hours) but I had a fantastic day and really enjoyed the experience. The girls are very good company and they are very knowledgeable about the sights and history of the places you visit.

I had been nervous of riding a moto in the Phnom Penh traffic but the girls take safety very seriously and I felt very comfortable, even in heavy traffic. It’s actually great fun to zip around the city and countryside on the bike!

I would highly recommend this tour!
